With a premier success rate in his more than 20-year search and recruiting career, his experience covers executive level and management positions within broad industry segments including manufacturing, consumer products, service, and non-profit and faith-based associations/businesses.
Using the knowledge he acquired both in corporate management and as President and COO of a successful retained search firm, Mike launched Signature Search in early 2000. The company's mission reflects his personal philosophy - to provide the most responsive, highest quality search services of anyone in the world. To Mike, this means working collaboratively with clients so all parties involved have ownership in the process and feel good about signing their names to the end results. Hence the company name.
Mike's 360° view of the search and recruiting process comes from hands-on experience on both sides of the desk. He began his career in corporate human resources, then moved into sales and marketing at a leading printing and packaging company before initiating his search career in 1987. Mike works closely with clients and candidates both nationally and internationally, leading Signature Search from the company headquarters in Appleton, Wisconsin.
